Türkiye continues to demonstrate strong growth as an emerging source market for Malaysia. Between January and May 2026, Malaysia welcomed 25,335 visitors from Türkiye, representing a significant 65.8% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This impressive growth highlights the effectiveness of ongoing promotional efforts and Malaysia’s increasing appeal among Turkish travelers. Building on this positive momentum, the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia forecasts that visitor arrivals from Türkiye will continue to rise throughout the year, with the total number of visitors expected to reach 50,000 by the end of 2026.
