Inviting you to explore the two and a half dimensional universe, which is a representation method at the intermediate point between two dimensions and three dimensions, the exhibition centers on the illusion of depth, which is the distinctive feature of two and a half dimensions.

The multiple "ways of seeing / transferring" that Murat Germen uses when perceiving the space in his art practice are revealed in the fiction he put forward as a curator in the "2.5B" exhibition. The fiction that guides the exhibition is based on the approach encountered in Germen's photographs, which "directs the construction of other dimensions in the perception of the viewer". The reflections of this approach are observed in the form of highlighting the spatial features that enable the illusion effect that the works in the exhibition provide the basis for.

The artists in the exhibition visualize architectural sections and details of daily life while rediscovering the boundaries of the material through gestures and interventions such as deepening or relief on different surfaces. In this way, the exhibition opens up space for the experience of the two-and-a-half-dimensional model of representation and perception, and makes it possible to think about the designed space and the lived space simultaneously in the ongoing debates about the "production of space".

“2.5B” adds to the attitude of the space in which it is located, which opens up the boundaries of the city to discussion. The exhibition, which appears as a new stop of the idea of expanding the horizons of social experience, realizes a juxtaposition that can realize the potential of the physical dimension change opportunity it offers to trigger a flow from the mental to the social.
