Sunset, regarded as one of the most captivating and technically challenging moments in photography in terms of light, turned into a visual spectacle on the Bosphorus on August 19, World Photography Day. Huawei celebrated the launch of its flagship Pura 90s Series in the Turkish market with a special light installation at the historic Çırağan Palace. The palace was illuminated with orange and blue lights symbolizing the transition between sunset phases known by photographers as the “Golden Hour” and the “Blue Hour.”
In photography, sunset hours—when light bends, contrast deepens, and colors reach their richest layers—are also known as one of the most demanding periods for mobile camera systems. Inspired by the “Rhythm of Colors” philosophy and the “Sunset” color palette of the Pura 90s Series, which marks a new era in mobile photography, Huawei illuminated the iconic Bosphorus landmark with the aesthetic of a giant photographic frame.
Featuring a 200 MP Ultra-Wide Sensor Telephoto Camera, True-to-Colour Camera 2.0 technology, and AI-powered image optimization, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series is designed to capture colors as true to life as possible even under the most challenging lighting conditions. Through this visual project, Huawei paid tribute to the timeless nature of photographic art and the passion for capturing the moment. The orange and blue sunset silhouette along the Bosphorus created an unforgettable scene in the Istanbul sky on World Photography Day.
