Canon introduced image.canon, which enables direct transfer of photos and videos to devices and web services. The new system allows free storage in the cloud automatically from Canon cameras. All photography enthusiasts, from beginners to amateurs and professionals, can easily connect to any device or web service with the state-of-the-art connection system and share images quickly.
A system beyond being a visual repository…
image.canon offers Canon users the simplest service to help manage all types of images, from family shots to professional workflows. image.canon allows users to send data automatically or manually from a Wi-Fi enabled Canon camera* to devices and social networking sites such as Google Drive, Flickr and YouTube. image.canon, where Google and Adobe integration will be provided as soon as possible, allows users to transfer images by opening automatically in the background when they connect to the internet. It can also store all images, including RAW images and 4K videos, free of charge for 30 days** via image.canon.
Manage your files easily and quickly
When photographers install the dedicated PC software download application for image.canon, they can quickly download images from their Canon cameras directly through this port. Canon users can also easily sort their images and enjoy easy direct sharing to their favorite social media channels or email contacts.
Not all Canon cameras support background automatic transfer. Other Wi-Fi-enabled Canon cameras offer easy manual transfer directly to the image.canon service. For a complete list of compatible cameras, please visit http://image.canon (coming soon). Compatible cameras must be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi.
** Original images will be deleted after 30 days unless they are stored in long-term memory.
