EOS R1; It comes to meet the high-end device and function requirements of professionals in many different fields such as sports, journalism and video production with both photo and video performance.
EOS R1 , which uses the newly developed image processor DIGIC Accelerator in addition to the existing DIGIC X processor; It provides the fastest processing of high volume data with its image processing system consisting of a new CMOS sensor. It also offers unprecedented improvements to Auto Focus (AF) and other functions.
In addition, Canon achieves high speed and accuracy subject recognition by combining its new image processing system and deep learning technology at the highest level. For example, in team sports where multiple subjects intersect in the frame, subject tracking accuracy is improved so that the target subject can be continuously tracked even if another athlete passes directly in front of them. In addition, the AF “Action Priority” function detects movements by quickly analyzing the subject's condition. In sports events, this function instantly shifts the AF frame by automatically identifying a player performing a specific action, such as kicking the ball, as the main subject in situations where the next move is difficult to predict. This ensures that the decisive moments of the game are captured.
With this new development, Canon also introduces the image noise reduction function, which was previously part of the software on computers, as a camera function to further improve image quality and contribute to the user's creativity.
Canon continues to work on field test results for the EOS R1 . With these studies, it aims to provide a solution that will allow users to capture moments precisely and effectively at international sports events to be held in the future.
Canon states that in the future, it will continue to expand the EOS R System camera and RF lens series, meeting the demands of its user range and contributing to the development of photography and video culture.
