185 FPS Gaming Experience with Ultra Performance
Both models in the series are built on Qualcomm’s latest flagship mobile platforms, while their dual-chip architecture delivers high performance in intensive multitasking, demanding applications, and gaming.
The top model in the series, POCO F9 Ultra, is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. In tests conducted in POCO’s own laboratories, the model achieved an AnTuTu score of 4,165,108, the highest score ever recorded by a POCO smartphone. The VisionBoost D8 chip, responsible for visual processing, is used alongside flagship processors in both models for the first time in the F Series. This architecture delivers an industry-leading frame rate of up to 185 FPS with Smart Frame Rate technology.
Smart Frame Rate and AI Super Resolution technologies can operate simultaneously, delivering smoother motion and greater image detail for a more realistic gaming experience.
In addition to its hardware capabilities, the POCO F9 Series further enhances gaming with the WildBoost Engine. One of the series’ standout features is its ability to reach ultra-high frame rates of up to 185 FPS in supported games. Compared with 120 FPS, this technology displays 65 additional frames per second and shortens the refresh interval by 3 milliseconds, helping players spot opponents earlier and react more quickly.
Game Color Enhancement allows the colors and visual details of game graphics to be fine-tuned with greater precision.
Visual performance is complemented by a 4,800 Hz instant touch sampling rate, 480 Hz 10-point touch sampling rate, and gyroscope sampling rate of up to 200 Hz. This enables controls such as tapping, swiping, and moving the phone to be detected quickly and accurately.
POCO’s 3D IceLoop cooling system helps devices maintain stable performance for longer periods, particularly during extended and intensive gaming sessions.
Immersive Visual Experience, Refreshed Design
The POCO F9 Series comes with 185 Hz POCO HyperRGB AMOLED displays that deliver smooth visuals across different usage scenarios. POCO F9 Ultra offers a larger viewing area with its expansive 6.9-inch display, while POCO F9 Pro brings the same flagship display technology to users in a more compact 6.59-inch form factor.
POCO HyperRGB technology, used in the displays of both models, features a full RGB subpixel structure that utilizes all red, green, and blue subpixels, providing sharp and vivid visuals comparable to a 2K display while consuming less power.
The series also features the new M11 light-emitting material. This technology provides peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits in different usage scenarios and up to 10,000 nits for HDR content, delivering more impressive brightness, deeper contrast, and greater image detail.
Prioritizing eye comfort as much as image quality, the POCO F9 Series introduces Xiaomi Vision Care, the brand’s first comprehensive eye comfort solution. Audio optimization powered by ‘Sound by Bose’ technology helps preserve detail at low volume levels while reducing distortion at higher volumes, aiming to provide a more natural listening experience across different sound levels.

This mode makes footsteps more prominent to improve players’ directional awareness while preserving details in gunshots, character voices, and other in-game sound effects. POCO F9 Ultra features the largest battery ever used in the POCO F Series. With a capacity of 8,050 mAh and 16 percent silicon-carbon content, the battery delivers high energy density within a slim body and provides up to two days of battery life.
POCO F9 Pro, meanwhile, maintains its compact design with a 6,330 mAh battery while providing all-day usage.
